Show us their best tricks! Instagram Competition Terms and Conditions

By submitting an entry to this promotion, you accept and agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “terms and conditions” or “Terms and Conditions”). If you do not agree to any of these terms or the Privacy Policy, you should not submit an entry. We recommend that you print and keep or save a copy of these terms and conditions to have on hand when needed.

Who is running this operation?

1. The promoter is Good Boy located at Armitage House, Nottingham, NG4 2BA (the ‘Promoter‘).
2. By participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Who is eligible to participate in this competition?

3. This promotion is only open to UK residents who are at least 18 years old.
4. Participants must have internet access and a valid Instagram account.
5. The Instagram account must be accessible to the public.
6. Employees of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, affiliates and suppliers and their immediate families or other persons professionally connected with the Promotion are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

When did the deadline expire?

7. The Promotion will run from 12th of July to Midnight on Monday 26^th July 2024 (the “Promotion Period“).

How can I participate?

8. To participate, participants must:
   1. Follow the 4 Steps highlighted in the Original Instagram Competition post  and show us your dog’s skills by tagging us in a video of them doing their best tricks!
   2. No purchase or payment is required.
   3. Entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or that contain third party intellectual property without the prior consent of the rights holder, or that contain abusive, inappropriate, offensive or obscene language or images will be disqualified. Examples of language/images deemed inappropriate, offensive or obscene include, but are not limited to: Any message/image that contains (a) swearing; (b) comments or actions that discriminate against an individual, business, or group of individuals, such as racist, sexist, or homophobic comments; (c) sexual innuendo, sexual language, or sexual acts, actions, or gestures; (d) promotion of illegal activities, such as. such as drug use; (e) messages that give the appearance of advertising or solicitation to purchase; and (f) any material (whether written or visual) that directly or indirectly refers to the brands of any of the Promoter’s competitors or indicates an intention to promote any brand other than the Promoter’s.

How many entries can I have?

11. Limited to one entry per person. Automated entries, mass entries or entries from third parties will be disqualified.

What is the prize?

12. There will be one winner
13. The prize includes a GoodBoy Raggy Crinkle Duck toy
14. No cash alternative available.
15. Transfer or assignment of the prizes is only permitted by the organizer.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

How is the winner selected?

19. The winners will be chosen at random.
20. This draw will take place immediately after the end of the promotional period.

How will the winner be notified?

21. The winner will be notified immediately after the draw by the Promoter via direct private message via the Instagram account used to enter the promotion.
22. The winner must respond to the message within 24 hours from the time of notification to confirm the address to which the prize can be sent.
23. Delivery of the toy may take up to 2  weeks after the address is provided.
24. If no response is received within 24 hours from the time of notification, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another winner selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. Again, the winner must respond to the notification within 24 hours from the time of the prize notification to claim the prize. There will be 3 additional drawings after which the prize will not be awarded. The unclaimed prize will not be awarded.

Use of your personal data for this action

25. The Promoter will use your address, name or other contact information you provide for the Promotion for the purpose and duration of the Promotion. The Promoter will only use this information to contact you if you win.
26. To find out the name and place of residence of the winner, send a stamped envelope to Armitage House, Nottingham, NG4 2BA.

Liability

28. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, mechanically reproduced, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries, messages or mailings; unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions; online failures; hardware software or other technical malfunctions or failures; or other communications failures or circumstances that interfere with, disrupt or damage the Promotion in any way.
29. The Promoter shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the Participant which may result in the Promoter being unable to contact the Participant.
30. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, vary or amend the prize draw or prize due to circumstances beyond its control.
31. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who, in its absolute discretion, may bring the Promoter into disrepute.
32. The Promoter will disqualify any entry that fails to comply with and/or breaches these terms and conditions.
33. By entering the Promotion, entrants are deemed to be bound by and have accepted the Instagram Terms and Conditions, Instagram Privacy Policy and Instagram API Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with and/or breach these terms and conditions.
34. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. You are submitting your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. The information you provide will only be used as stated in these terms and conditions. By entering the Promotion, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability arising from their participation in or performance of the Promotion.
35. The decision of the organizer is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
36. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend or waive these terms and conditions or to suspend or terminate the Competition at any stage in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond its control (including suspected or actual fraudulent or deceptive practices or other breaches of these terms and conditions).
37. Events may occur which make the Promotion itself or the award of any prize impossible for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control and accordingly the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, modify or amend the Promotion and the entrant agrees that the Promoter shall not be liable in such event.
38. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor any of its affiliates, employees, directors, agents, representatives or subcontractors accepts any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in accessing the Website, participating in the Promotion or accepting any prize. Proof of posting does not constitute proof of receipt. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software that cannot be received due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or any website, or for any delays or failures of postal or similar delivery services or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation in the Promotion. The Promoter’s liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury resulting from the Promoter’s negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited by law is not excluded.

What laws apply to this action?

39. This action is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
40. The judges` decision is final. That is not applicable to GDPR related issues.
